For those unfamiliar with the Billy Goat curse, the story goes as follows. Chicago tavern owner William Sianis purchased 2 tickets to game four of the 1945 World Series for him and his goat, Murphy. After Murphy was refused entry to the stadium, William cursed the Cubs to never win another World Series. This curse took a powerful hold for 71 years, and the Cubs did not win another Series to break the curse until 2016. This stein celebrates the end of the Billy Goat curse and the possibility of more Cubs World Series Wins.
